Streets of Rage is one of the original 'beat 'em up' games, also known as a 'brawler', and you basically just beat up all the enemies (typically gangsters) that appear on the screen as you move though the scenes. And now, thanks to SEGA, you can enjoy this classic title on Android.
Streets of Rage has eight levels, each one packed with normal enemies and one boss. Scattered though the different levels are various makeshift weapons, such as pipes, bottles or knives. Pick them up to inflict severe damage on your enemies, although they can only be used a few times before they break.
Like all games of this genre, Streets of Rage has a few different character to choose from, three to be exact. And in the Android version, you can play with any friends using the same WiFi network.
Streets of Rage is part of the 'SEGA Forever' line, a series of video games officially released by the Nipona company to mobile devices. The players can customize the controls and save the game at any time. And although you must watch an advertisement every time you open this 'Free-to-Play' game, once you're playing the game there's no banners or other ads to diminish the game experience.
